
Marty Edwards
Marty Edwards is a globally recognized industrial cybersecurity leader who works with organizations to mitigate risks impacting our critical infrastructure. With over 30 years of experience ranging from automation OEM to asset owner, and from cybersecurity vendor to government policy leader, he literally has “seen it all”.
He has held many diverse roles ranging from technical field service in the asset owner and ICS vendor community, government contracting, non-profit director, deputy chief technology officer and is most recognized as the longest serving and last director of the U.S. DHS ICS-CERT (now part of CISA).

Edwards holds a diploma of technology in Process Control and Industrial Automation (Magna cum Laude) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), and in 2015 received the institute’s Distinguished Alumni Award. In 2016, Edwards was recognized by Federal Computer Week (FCW) in its “Federal 100 Awards” as being one of the top IT professionals in the U.S. federal government. He has appeared as a subject matter expert on television for media outlets such as CNN, Fox and ABC and has contributed to many news articles over the years.
Edwards is currently helping secure the global critical infrastructure community as the President and CEO of his consulting company, Sirius PPT, Inc.
